Black Spots on my Early Girl Tomato Plant Leaves

I am a first time tomato grower and my Early Girl plant has a severe case of black spots on the leaves. I have taken a couple of pictures of them. What should I do? Should I cut the infected leaves off? Thank you for any help you might suggest. Eric
