brownish scab like growth on stems

Just planted a week ago in a raised bed and changed the substrate two weeks ago with a topsoil compost mix. . Only thing that has been done is watering so far. Please help me identify what the problem is so that I can treat it!! Also im trying to do this garden completely organic or at least to the best of my abilities. Also attached a picture!
