Think I just found another horn worm pupa on top of soil

Yeesh.. I had horn worms last year and thought I had gotten rid of them. Of course, AFTER planting a raised bed with beans, over the past 2 weeks, I've found 2 or 3 pupae (I think that's what they are - 2" fat things still in a white film/skin) on top of my soil. I guess they're waking up after overwintering/living rent free in my soil.

My primary concern is the 8 tomato plants growing nearby. should I sacrifice the several bean and cucumber plants in that bed to till and get rid of them? Hate to spray, but I will if I have to. Will also add that I am TOTALLY grossed out by them and won't touch the hatched worms, so would like to get rid of them before they are "pickable", if possible.

Suggestions?
