Help, critters on my peppers !!! with pics...

and maybe tomatoes?!?!I saw these guys on my plants a couple of days ago but I must say, I don't see any visuale damage. Most are on my Hungarian Hot Wax. They seem to be on two plants only. Right next to the tomatoes but it seems like they are not wanting to go anywhere. Thet just kinda stay put. Only jump when I come real close to them. They look young so I assume they will migrate to my Tomatoes.

1- Who/What are they? Grasshoppers I guess. Never get them where I used to live on L.I.

2- Will they take over my peppers and tomatoes??

3- Should I spray them a.s.a.p.??

It's almost like they said 'cheese'!!!

They are taunting me I bet!

Normally, I wouldn't worry about grasshoppers all that much but it looks like you have an infestation. A plague of bibilical proportions.

There are a number of insecticides that will take care of the problem. Use them properly and you should have good results.

How many plants are they on? If a reasonable number, you could flick the critters into soapy water.
