Tomato Pests & Diseases

unsure what's going on with my tomatoes (pics)

My tomato transplants are looking sad, very yellowish green and are not doing well. Some leaves have brown spots on them, but not very circulat. I am a first year gardener, and I am trying to pin point what it is (disease, enviromental versus nutrients deficiency).
Help would be appreciated.

Are those drip lines, one to each side of the plant?
If so, have you checked to determine if the water is getting to the original rootball?
If not, please do.

I've found that early on, I need to hand water at the bases of each plant for a while until the roots grow into the surrounding soil a bit.
