I am new to the gardening world and am really enjoying it. I have had success in the basic growing of tomatoes, fighting diseases and over watering but now I have run into quite a frustrating problem. Whenever my tomatoes start to turn a nice orange/red color they come up missing? The whole stalk that all the tomatoes are growing on not just a bite out of the tomato but the whole darn stalk. I am sure it happens during the night. I think it could be racoons but I have not seen what animal is doing this. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? what can I do to protect my fruit? What would happen if I bring my containers in overnight? Please help me stop feeding the wild animals.
