leaf disease - reddish underside, yellow top

I recently noticed some of my tomato leaves were yellowing. The undersides of the yellow leaves are burgundy. I started all of these plants from seeds and have had them in my kitchen window. It has been getting a little crowded in the window... I think that has probably contributed to the problem. I repotted all of the tomatoes yesterday and clipped most of the affected leaves. Oh, I am a novice tomato grower and I am growing several varieties that are new to me. Perhaps the red is normal? The most affected plant is a type of heirloom that came in a heirloom tomato seed mix (I don't know which type) Ideas? Am I doomed to buy starts from a box store?
