I planted these tomato plants on Sunday, it is now Thursday and I have already lost one. I am not really sure what is going on. Please take a look at my pictures and let me know what you see. Possibly overwatering? This one is in a container, and the other is in the ground that is more spotty. I also have a third that is yellowing on the edges which is in the ground. The container has miracle grow garden soil and the ground has the same soil plus compost and natural soil tilled up.

There is no compost material in the container at all.

did you harden them off? Did you overfertilize? Did you overwater? Yellowing is usually a sign of nitrogen deficiency which can be caused by overwatering. The brown edges could be wind or sun burn if you did not harden them off. The one in the container you could put back in the shade during the heat of the day and see if it improves. I overwatered all my plants in the beginning this year cause I was overexcited and anxious about messing up. funny huh?
