tomatoes in trouble--what did i do?

Hi,

I had 3 tomato plants that looked healthy. i wanted to wait until it was hot, and so i didn't feed them much, and they were in pots maybe 5 inch diameter. I started them mid march.

anyhow, i brought them outside, and there were funky things on the leaves. see pictures!

so what now? do i remove the leaves that look ill? (i did take some out, i can't see rotting leaves being a good thing for the health of the plant). I did feed them 5 days ago, and am seeing a little improvement. yes, i'll feed them earlier next year--i promise.

any advice? what was it, and how do i fit it?

thanks,

cheryl
