Help! variegated yellowing of leaves

I'm stumped and so are my local gurus. Some of my garden toms are sporting yellowing newer leaves at the tops of the plants. The leaves appear very healthy still, except for the color.

I've considered mineral deficiencies, too much water, salt overload, but the pics of examples of such just aren't exactly matching what I've got. There are other toms in the same garden area with no problems. Among the affected are Zogola, Heat Wave, Better Boy, Bucks County, and I forgot which other one.

I've got a 2-year old raised garden with Garden Supersoil from a local nursery, amended with compost and a little aged horse manure. I'm mulching with straw from the farmer's co-op.

I had no such problems with any plants last year.

If you can offer any suggestions, I would appreciate it more than you know!

Thanks,
Terri

What have you used to kill weeds? Damage from Roundup looks like that. Could have been used some feet away, but then affeced the plants via drift or spray turbulence.

I DID use a weed killer a few yards away -- I thought it was such a calm day there would be no drift. (insert bad words here) We have several oaks and those little acorns sprout like crazy. I have baby oaks like most people have grass.

Is there anything I can do, or are the plants bound for death? The other area where I sprayed is long dead now.

Thanks so much for advice -- and I've definitely learned a lesson here.

Terri
