Tomato Leaf Bent at Right Angle

Just put Black Cherry transplants that I started from seed in mid-March in my Earthboxes (after hardening them off gradually for 2 weeks). They're about 18" tall. Went out to garden yesterday to find that on one plant the lower leaves were bent at a right angle. From far away it looked like the leaves had been broken and part was still attached and hanging down. I got closer and saw that the leaf had actually bent. Everything is green and looks normal, except for this severe bend. Top of plant looks normal. Please tell me what could cause this and how/if I can fix it. Any info much appreciated.
