Karlieb, from what I can see in the first photo, your plants do not have Late Blight. [I'm not a tomato expert, but I do have a lot of experience with Late Blight.]

No, the color of the markings on my plants are dark grey to black and reflective in sunlight like silvery metal. It doesn't seem to spread super fast.

Nothing wrong with your camera. Look at the images again. The background is in good focus. the close-up view isn't.

so, you're too close to the leaf for the camera's current setting.

Alright, I took 5 more pictures from further away (I can't figure out my camera settings). Not sure if they help or not, though.

Have you used a spray or drench? In my limited experience, dead tissue around the edges is usually over pesticide use or over fertilizing. Lorri DK

I haven't used any pesticides and I've been fertilizing very conservatively (1/4 or 1/8 strength every 10 days) for fear of damage. But the bed does have a lot of compost and I don't see this on my plants in other beds that have less compost so you could be right.

I'll try to stop stressing about it.
