Here is the plant. I hope all the features show up on it. You can see the leaves on the bottom that are dead and brown. The stem is also turning brown.

I also realize that it looks like something is eating at the plant. The leaves are disappearing, although I can't see what it is that is eating the plant. It seems like I had this problem when I had a tomato plant in the garden. The same thing happened to that tomato plant. This plant is either a pink tomato or a paste tomato. The one in the garden was a cherry tomato plant.

I found the culprit! Black caterpillars have been eating at my tomato plants. Also, my pepper plant has been chewed on as well. I have been taking the caterpillars off and hope my plant can recover! Thanks for all the feedback. I have learned a lot through this lesson.
