Alright, I went out tonight to declare war on whatever is eating my plants! I was armed with bird netting, rat traps, sevin and a nifty pair of clippers. I am already battling spider mites....grr....

I found stink bugs on my zucchini plants and the more I tried to kill, the more I found, so I ripped them up and burned the plants. That made me feel MUCH better...

After that I found a worm on one of my plants. I am afraid that this is really the culprit after some internet research. Does anyone know what type of worm this is, and what I can do to get rid of his friends and family? I am assuming that where this is one, there are more....I am trying to decide if it is a fruitworm or a southern armyworm - they all look destructive!
