Hi,

I had a good run of growing the past few years, but this year has been rough. Never have I had aphid problems (I guess the tiny white and green bugs) but they are ALL OVER them. I sprayed with over the counter soap spray and it only did a mediocre job. The plants are too large to really get everything well. I am also getting blight yellow colors on the leaves, but I've never had anything hit this early. I sprayed with daconil, but it hasn't seemed to help. This is only hitting small areas of plants but it is spreading up the plant.

It almost looks like more of a deficiency issue or over fertilization problem? Better boy plants and I did fertilize granular 5-10-5 a few inches around the base when they started to flower around 3-4 weeks ago.

Or would all that from the picture be caused by the aphids? As you can see, some leaves have literally turned white and died, which I usually only see in October-Nov before I pull the plants. Not June!
