Small holes in my green tomatoes

A few of my tomatoes have small holes in them. I didn't worry about it at first because it seemed like the plant would heal itself. However, I use a sprinkler to water and the area of the first tomato that was effected began to rot. I've found holes on the bottoms of a few plants too. Any idea what's causing this? The leaves of the plant are fine.
