Hi, I am growing some heirloom tomatos for the first time in self-watering containers. We have had very heavy rainstorms in Toronto over the past few weeks. My tomatos aren't growing as fast as I thought they would, and now I'm seeing beginnings of yellow spots and brown spots on the leaves. Should I cut off the lower branches? They seem to get dirt on the underside of them when it rains hard. Any other suggestions/diagnosis?
