Help with disease i.d. w/pic...

Hi everyone! Earlier in the week I posted a post titled 'preventative disease control, would you use it?'.

Well, I decided to wait until this weekend when the temps cool a little. 90 early in the week, high of 80 today.

I went outside to spray my Ortho Disease Control when I noticed that - gasp - a disease beat me to it!!

It seems to be on only one plant right now, Earl's Faux, and only on the bottom leaves.

What is it exactly?

Will it spread fast?

Can I just trim the infected ones off? Read in another post that's one a few of you do.

Or, treat it first THEN removed in a couple of days? Meaning let the spray do it's thing first, maybe it can be saved.

Thanks so much,

Sheila
