'whiteheads' on my green tomatoes

I've looked online (including "problem solver 2" on this site) for answers, but no luck.

One of my tomato plants, a 4th of July, has small white spots on the upripe fruit. The spots are perfectly circular, with a tiny indentation in the middle. Almost look like someone poked a pencil in the middle of the spot. It doesn't look like the pictures of bacterial canker or flecks.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Thanks for your post, but I'm sure these are not eggs. The spots are part of the tomato. I'll attempt to post a pic.
