Young Tomato Blossom-side Defect

About a month ago, I began growing a Brandywine tomato plant in a large container with good drainage. I used a mixture of potting soil with some sphagnum peat moss and I've been watering it regularly. Today I noticed that my tiny fruit has some sort of defect on the blossom-side that caused severe dimpling and the inside of the fruit is exposed in several places. Does anyone know what this is and how to treat it? Is it just a fluke with that piece of fruit or is the entire plant doomed? A photo is attached. Many thanks!
