Could this be sun-scald? Tomatos

My garden lives in a fenced in area to keep rabbits, squirrels etc. out, I recently added bird netting to keep the birds out, and now this. While searching around on the internet, I think I may have found the problem..but am not 100% sure. Anyone care to tell me if this is indeed sunscald? (we've been in the very high 90's for nearly 3 wks. with little to no cloud cover)
While I can't fight the weather, it would be nice to know, I'm not facing a bug/fungus type problem.
