odd bumps on stem -- not primordia (i don't think)

i tried to find someone with the same problem but i couldn't.. check it out:






also, i'm just curious if any of you happen to know what kind of spider this is? i assume it's a good guy?

I have the same bumps too...but a lot more. They are on my Health Kick that has about 10 good size tomatoes on it...All else seems ok....

Root primordia, even though you don't believe it.

Can't see your critter well enough to know what it is. If it's a spider, realize that all are considered beneficial.
