Cracking Grape Tomatoes

I am new to veggie gardening. My grape tomato plant had been doing great, but today when I picked some they all have cracks. We have had a lot of rain lately, could that be the problem?

RE: Cracking Grape Tomatoes

Yes. Some cherry and grape tomatoes are more prone to it than others, and it is very much related to excessive moisture which Texas and Oklahoma, and many other places as well, are experiencing this year.

If the rain ever stops, the cracking should stop as well unless you have planted a variety that is excessively prone to cracking.
