| I planted 4 plants on lawn covered w/newspaper and 6" of compost. covered w/black plastic, watered well and was away for 3 weeks. came home to pitiful tall plants with all the new leaves about 1/5 the size, thick and curled. I have seen leaf curl in AZ last winter and this looks different. The bottom leaves look fine,are large, and there are sme tomatoes. Did I fry the roots?? I took off the plastic, mounded up the compost to cover more stem and cool the very warm compost but do not see much improvement after 10 days. My potato plants looked bad too but they seem to be recovering. Help!, |
