Can Seaweed Spray Cause Wilting?

Today my Anna Russian and my Red Brandywine completely wilted, top to bottom. In a matter of hours the entire plants just drooped like they had lost all ability to hold themselves up. None of my other plants did this. As of 24 hours ago these two plants were perfectly healthy with no signs of foliar discoloration or disease. The only thing I did was to spray all my plants yesterday morning with a diluted seaweed extract. The weather was a perfect 80 degrees today with sunshine, the soil is evenly moist. These two plants are in the same raised bed as another plant (Druzba) that is perfectly fine. This happened to me last year, when I lost my Traveller and Druzba plants after spraying with Daconil. Has anyone else ever experienced plant damage from any kind of foliar spraying? This is the only thing I can point to that is out of the ordinary. Check out the photo of my Brandywine.

RE: Can Seaweed Spray Cause Wilting?

Here is a link to the photos I referred to in my earlier post. It's bizarre. The plants look fine except that all the branches are completely limp. The Anna Russian recovered a bit over night, but as soon as the sun hit the plant this morning it drooped again. Now the Druzba in between these the two other plants is starting to droop as well. I am completely baffeled. Does anyone have any insights? I lost two of 8 plants last year from the same thing.
