The mice (or other rodent) have been at my the two tomatoes in one of my raised beds nightly for about 2 weeks now. They eat between 3 and 8 per night. Must be a herd! They're not even waiting for any sign of red; they're eating the green ones!

I know it's a rodent 'cause

- the bed is completely enclosed in a chickenwire fence (front in unrolled in the pic)

- only happens at night

- found mouse dropping half way up my plant.

I tried spraying with hot sauce and water; I think they ate more. I gave them grapes; they said thanks for the appetizer. I wrapped the biggest tomatoes in netting; they chewed through it.

I put out poison bait; they haven't touched it. Why would they when they have a beautiful supply of Toms to feed on.

Last night I put out 10 snap traps baited with pb, cheese, grapes, and chocolate. 2 got snapped; none caught. I put 4 glue boards in the plants. They ate one right next to it.

Any suggestions about what bait or anything else that has worked for you?
