Help ID'ing Possible Cankers

Can someone help identify unusual "pimples" on a few of my tomato plants? I have Juliet and Better Boy varieties. If has been unseasonably cool for much of the summer followed up with tons of rain early on in the season.

I water for about 1/2 hour every other day (with misters) and use Miracle Grow once a week.

Right now the garden is overgrown so I plan on cutting the plants back to help air flow. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

"pimples" nicely describes your tomato's root initials. Those are commonly seen with conditions of high humidity or stress.

To clarify the term "canker" -- that means the plant has a dead, sunken spot.
