Purple Cherokee Mold Issue?

CockburnSampson

I am using the square foot gardening method. I am watering my tomatoes twice a week and I'm having an issue with my Purple Cherokee. It's showing purple spots on the leaves between the veins above and below the leaves. It starts on the outer edges of leaves and kind of rolls them up. In the later stage it appeared to rot the leaves off the plant although I've only had it happen to a few leaves thus far. I cannot scratch this stuff off of the leaves.

There are aphids in the garden area but I haven't found any on this plant yet as they are too busy violating my canary melons. Does anyone know if this is some kind of mold? So far I have just cut the affected areas but it's slowly spreading. Thanks for helping!
