Pin Worms or Fruit Worms?

Not sure which I have. About 1/4 to 1/2 inch long and green. Seems to cocoon itself on underside of leaf and folds leaf over itself with its web. I have almost denuded plant clipping off leaves every time I find them. Plant (Big Beef)is in a container on patio. Purchased soil from Home Depot, added tomato fertilizer a couple of weeks ago. Few days ago I sprayed with epsom salt mixture. Day before yesterday I sprayed with soap solution for the worms, no effect. I am in central Florida and we have been having a lot of rain and temps in the high 80's to mid 90's. Any idea how to get rid of worms and can plant still survive with most of leaves gone? Only two tomatoes set and still growing, slowly. No other blooms have set.

Instead of removing the leaves, just lightly squish the folded part to get rid of the chewer.

Sprays won't help because the critters are inside the fold -- just like being inside a bomb shelter.
