Tomato Curly Leaf Disease

So I found out that my tomatoes have curly leaf disease, looks like it came from the nursery from further research. I have some question from my fellow gardening experts here. I removed the plants & had them completely removed from my property to keep from future contamination possibilities.
1.) Now what do I do with the soil that they were planted in to keep this disease from spreading & affecting my next crop?
2.) Wanting to plant a fall crop in its place since its early enough in the year but unsure what I should plant that will not be affected by the contaminated area?
3.) Should I do something to the ground in that area or is their another kind of plant that will not get the curly leaf disease if the ground is contaminated? Or am I completely wrong to think that this disease will stay in my ground?
Thanks everyone for the help!
