Sad in San Diego/Zone 10... Is this BER?

Hello All,

Thank you so much for all of your time and expertise shared on this board, as a newbie I really appreciate being able to ask questions of those who have walked before me :)

I'm so sad to find my newer fruits coming up with the condition shown below. I've read a bit about BER and fear that may be the culprit on my San Marzanos. Could anyone please verify this for me? The first tomatoes at the bottom of the plants (in 2d photo) look ok and a couple are beginning to blush now. Will I lose those as well? Also, this is happening on two different plants in the same bed. I know I planted them too close, unfortunately I found you after they were already in the ground so will do better next year.

If there is any more information you need to assist me in the diagnosis, please advise.

TIA!

Stephanie
