strange eggs? on tomato leaf

I grow all Heirloom tomatoes, While casually looking at my crop, I noticed a leaf with a perfect trangular grouping of white 'things' on the underside of an upper leaf it looked like tiny domino dots. I was afraid it might be something to do with the dreaded hornworms, so I yanked that leaf off and squashed it underfoot.

Anyone know what it was?

I think it's probably stink bug eggs. Look through these photos, there's one at the bottom of page that looks like what you described.
