small holes at bottom of tomato?

Wondering if someone could help...I have a purple cherokee heirloom tomato plant and noticed these small holes at the bottom of one of the tomatoes....is this normal?...this is my first year with heirlooms, and i know they don't look perfect ,i just don't want this to be a sign of a bigger problem, (worms or bugs)...i picked this one early just b/c i was nervous!
