Tomato problem,

darcus

I've been successfully growing tomatoes for 40 years and have never ran across this problem. The problem is with one isolated bush plant grown in a 30 gallon container. I thought at first it was blossom rot. The blossom end was dark with a hard, irregular "cork-like" texture. I brought four of them in today and cut the ends off thinking the rest of the tomato was O.K. Instead, I found dark reddish-brown, 1/2" worm-like creatures (hard shelled)in a semi-curled position throughout the tomato. The tomatoes were large and one of them looked like two fused together. The entire inside of the fruit had white "tracks" throughout. Anyone know what this is? Thank you.
