These are tomatoes off of recently transplanted plants (about 18-20' high). They have been planted in a section of garden where tomatoes have not been grown for a few years, the soil was tilled and amended, and the day after planting (no rain during this time), the soil between the plants and rows were layered with newspaper then fresh straw. We have had a couple of nice, heavy rains (+1") since then.

At first I thought blossom end rot, then buckeye rot, and now I am just confused. Any idea? THANKS!
