Tomato leaves growing together

I've got a question about my early girl tomatos that I planted from seed. Two of plants have new growth that started off looking kind of strange. The leaves didn't appear to be opening as usual and rather than fanned out, they were curled up. I suspected curly top virus but other than these few new leaves, the plant looked fine. I decided to wait and see what they did. Now that these first stems and leaves are getting longer/bigger I have found that instead of having several leaves on one stem, I have ended up with one large leaf that has several jagged spots on it where I would assume the leaves would separate.

The plant seems to be growing fine other than having a few of these strange looking leaves on it.

Any thoughts on what this could be caused by??
