Help my Tamato, S.O.S.

I have a raised bed, and Tomatoes weer very happy there last year and I had many tomatoes.

This year, same raised bed, I grew some Better Boys and some small tomatoes 9like cherry tomatoes, and grape tomatoes). Small one are fine, but better boys are having trouble.

1. I haven't seen any ripe(red) better boys yet. although some are fairly big size, but they just stay green for at least few weeks. I checked them up this morning, many of them have completely rotten bottom. I am not talking few black spots. the whole bottoms are rotten. Is this kind of disease? I water them almost every day. Too much water? but now it is really hot.

2. Tomato plants look very healthy but they are fairly close to each other. Could this be the problem. I did the same way last, and it was fine.

3. I don't have many fruits on better boys this year. I did fertilize them twice. And lot of fruits are fairly small.

Anyway, they just don't look like the same as what I had last year. Those rotten bottoms specially worry me. I am afraid I may not get any tomatoes this year. (unless I pick them up green).

Anyone can help?

Thanks in advance,

Kai Hui
