| I obsessed about the spots on my tomatoes. (Thank you gardenweb members!) I decided that it must be early blight, carefully cut the infect leaves off throwing them away in the trash and disinfected my in between each cut. I mixed up my Daconil, applied it with a sprayer in the evening and waited. Over the week, I trimmed off more yellowed leaves. Today, as I sprayed again, there were still more yellow and spotted leaves.
So, is the Daconil slowing down what would be a terrible blight? Should I have bought something else? Do I need to alternate between one and another? Thank you for any help! |

| Most fungicides protect new growth from infection. Thus one needs to spray at the label-suggested intervals to do so. If you spray but the problem continues, the leaf may have already been infected or you have a problem that's not responding to Daconil. Perhaps it's not early blight after all? |
