I am flummoxed. Last year, I lost about half my tomatoes; once they were ripe, something would eat them right off the vine, often leaving half over. This year, I completely covered the garden with bird netting--I went out the other day, and the same eating pattern appears. There were no rips in the bird netting, and no sign of ground entry. What is especially perplexing is that they got to some cherry tomatoes that were pretty high up--can't see how the plant would've supported the weight of a squirrel to get to it. Anyone have an idea?
