I hope this link works. The larger green pest sounds kind of like a stink bug. I've had them this year and they are leaf green, bodies look to me like a shield.

I looked at those, and that might be it. Do you know if they look different when they are immature, or younger? I saw these on that same site but wasnt sure as I dont see any fruit damage on any of the tomatoes. As well, they look a little different as i look at them from the side angle usually.

I looked now and it seems the soap I used helped.....what do you do for yours?

I wipe them off by hand. What I've read is that horticultural oil works, but I'm not willing to use that on my toms. I've used soap and neem and I don't know if either one works. My real problem is the source, their host plant is the tree mallow and my neighbors have 3 of those that are 15 feet from my plants and are just covered with insects so I have to do an every two day check of my plants and wipe them off by hand. Is this anal or what!!!
It's been a tough tomato season!!!
I think the soap may be helpful. I have bees buzzing around so have to be very careful what I use.

As was noted in your other post, the greenies are adult solanaceous planthoppers, the dark ones their youngsters.
