Ok, this is my second year growing vegetables, it is all new to me so I apologize if I am asking a stupid question. Last year my tomatoes grew great and no pests ate them. This year the chipmunks are laughing at me. What can I do to stop them from eating my tomatoes and herbs? I was thinking of maybe a scarecrow or a fake owl - does that work with chipmunks? It would be very time consuming to chicken wire every plant or the entire garden. Before I do the later I would like to try some other options. I appreciate any recommendations.
