Pill bugs/sow bugs boring into my tomatoes

Hi all--I've got a problem w/ ropy poly bugs chowing down on my Persimmon tomatoes just as they're getting ripe. These tomatoes are good sized fruits growing in dense clusters of 4 to 5 fruits. These pill bugs are burrowing in at the fruit-to-cap interface and munching themselves large holes. Im finding 3 or 4 in each tomato around the cap. They look to be immature and they seem to only like this type of tomato--maybe because the grooves at the top give them a niche to start chewing from. Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get them off my tomatoes? I've never grown this variety before so have never had this problem before. I'm only getting 2/3 of every tomato and I don't like sharing -- especially when there are plenty of fallen sun golds 4feet over for them to munch---these guys are climbing up 3 feet to get to these clusters!
