Help! Tomato disease spreading fast

After a week of downpouring rain, my tomatoes starting turning brown in places and within a few days the entire plant looked like this. It was worst in the center and I have done a considerable amount of pruning to clear off some of the problem stems and leaves. I thought it might be blight but it doesn't look like what I've researched. Please help!

Looks like late blight to me. Sorry. (I'm crossing my fingers our recent rain doesn't facilitate the same thing.)

I have the same problem.
Until 3 days ago they looked fine. Today I found 3 of them almost dead. The most clear sine is BLACKENING of the stems and leaf stem. ...and leaves just shrivel and die. I cut them all .
These were all in the same bed and all cherry type. But I have seen STEM BLACKENING of Black Krim and Early Girl too. But so far they are still ok.

When either early, or late, blight show up on some plants, will a spray protect the healthy ones? I was wondering specifically about Chlorothalonil?
