Please help me identify this catepillar

Hey folks.

I woke up this morning and went outside to check on my various plants and noticed there were 2 holes in the top of one of my green tomatoes. I also noticed there seemed to be some kind of web at the top of the tomato which is where the catepillar was hiding. I googled tomato horn worm and tomato fruit worm but this does not seem to be either.

What kind of catepillar is this and would using bt be effective?

If you click on the image it will take you to photobucket where you can see the full size image and the web, holes, and caterpillar are much clearer.

You have one damaged tomato and one culprit. Dispatch the beast.

Then follow-up with daily inspections to see if it has any hungry relatives. Dispatch on sight when only a few.
