Blight and Container Tomatoes

Hi All!
Am I right or wrong in assuming that early and late blight cannot affect tomatoes grown in containers with fresh store bought potting soil?
Thanks!

Sorry, but you''re wrong. Has nothing to do with soil. The fungus spores are air-borne.

Blight happens whenever the correct environmental conditions of moisture & temperature are present.
