Blight and Container Tomatoes

Hi All!
Am I right or wrong in assuming that early and late blight cannot affect tomatoes grown in containers with fresh store bought potting soil?

| Sorry, but you''re wrong. Has nothing to do with soil. The fungus spores are air-borne. Blight happens whenever the correct environmental conditions of moisture & temperature are present. |
