greenhouse growing of heirloom tomatoes

| I just finished harvesting a late crop of heirloom tomatoes from my greenhouse (finished Nov 8). These were started in late June/early July for a late season harvest, and grown organically in a medium of soil, peat and manure - fertilized only with fish emulsion, seaweed extract, etc. Note, I am fairly north, so it's already pretty cold with shorter days up this way.
This was my first experiment with heirlooms in a greenhouse for a delayed season. I am looking for other growers who are growing heirloom tomatoes in a greenhouse so we can compare notes. |

| You might want to post over on the Greenhouse forum or the Hydroponics forum as that is where most of the greenhouse growers congregate. Dave |

| If I can convince the family to take down our ugly old above-ground pool and replace it with a nice greenhouse for Mommy, then I will be participating in this effort. I think my chances are slim, though. And I'm kinda jealous. |
