I have a Stihl MS260 chainsaw with a strange problem. It is just over a year old and only been run 5-6 times. I have a problem that has surfaced 3 times. If during use the chain gets stuck, typically by a log pinching it and causing the saw to stall it will not restart.

It will only start with the choke on even though it's hot, run at high revs for a few seconds, then die. Ongoing attempts to start are futile as the same sequence continues.

Taking it back to the shop days later, they check the plug, put fresh gas in and it starts no problem. Every time so far I get the chain stuck and the saw stalls the problem resurfaces.

I'd appreciate any ideas, help that anyone can offer. Thanks.
