osmanthus fragrans can i espalier it?

Hi,

I have a dark brown brick SW facing Z6 NW AR wall on house front.

I really want to learn to espallier and want a fragrant evergreen in that spot.

Will osmanthus work there? I've never seen nor grown one. Also, can it be shaped as an espallier? Has anyone ever seen it done with osmanthus?

Any and all info will be so appreciated.

Kat

To be honest with you, I have never seen Osmanthus trained in this techniques. Espalier requires a creative imagination, training and
pruning. Osmanthus have rather stiff braches and rigid sharp leaves with a toothed edge so careful handling will be required.
