| Just wanting to know how to make the basic lollypop shape topiary out of buxus. Would it be best to wait till the plant is big before i trim the side branches off or should i trim the side branches right from the start with a small seedling size. I want the topiary just big enough to go on a outdoor table. Also what would be the best season to start growing and training. Any help would be appreciated! |

| Let the plant grow to your desired height. Once you have it at your desired height then you can pinch off the top to encourage branching and budding outwards from the trunk. The best time to start training or growin would be your areas Spring and Summer when your plants are actively growing. MBT |
