Monogram topiary for wedding

I am thinking of doing a monogram topiary for my wedding... a low one in the shape of an M (for my future last name). I was wondering if anyone has seen a topiary done in a letter? Is that something that is totally not done, or does that idea make sense????

Sure but when is the wedding? It will take some time to "train" the plants how you want them. I did one in the shape of the logo for the Cincinnati Reds.

Sholdn't be a problem. Try making the lettering with aviary mesh then stuff tour letter with sphagnum moss. Soak the moss for about 20 minutes or so and it swells up quite well. Then get a small leaf ivy or creeping fig and pin it to the moss filled shape. This looks quite nice even when you don't have 100% coverage with your trained plant.
